Tabbi is a product operated by Makedo Inc. ("Makedo," "we," "us"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Tabbi, including our website, applications, and related products and services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tabbi. The Service is for your personal use to improve your English communication. Don't use it to break the law, harm others, or cause damage to the Service or other users.

To use most features, you'll create an account. Please provide accurate information and keep your password confidential — you're responsible for what happens on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at contact@tabbi.ai right away.
You can delete your account anytime from your account settings or by contacting us. Once deleted, your account and content cannot be recovered.
You retain ownership of the text, audio, and other content you submit to Tabbi ("User Content").
We do not publish or share your User Content publicly.
We process your User Content only as needed to provide the Service, including using AI systems to analyze and improve your input (such as correcting English).
This processing is limited to operating and improving the Service and does not grant us rights to use your content for marketing, resale, or public distribution.
You're responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the rights to submit it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Billing. Paid subscriptions (such as Tabbi Plus) are billed by Makedo Inc. through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you'll keep access until then.
Taxes. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Non-payment. If a payment fails and isn't recovered after Stripe's automatic retries, we may suspend or downgrade your access.
The Tabbi name, logo, software, and all other content provided through the Service (other than User Content) are owned by Makedo Inc. or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that Tabbi will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit any specific purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Makedo Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of Tabbi after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service.
Tabbi was previously operated by Tabbi AI, Inc. As of May 1, 2026, Tabbi has been acquired by Makedo Inc. and is now owned and operated by Makedo. Your existing account, data, and access continue uninterrupted under these Terms. Billing for paid subscriptions has moved to Makedo Inc. via Stripe. By continuing to use Tabbi on or after the Effective Date, you accept these updated Terms.
You may not transfer or assign your account or rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. Makedo Inc. may transfer or assign these Terms — including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction — without notice or consent.
